Toys & In-Game Items

Grooming Kit

Created by Skitzo

Download Grooming Kit for P4

These only come in a Petz 4 version! If you happen to have the P5 files, please get in touch so I can put them up as well.

Per Skitzo: Feel free to recreate items etc.

Pack contains a hoof pick, curry brush, mud-curry brush, dandy brush, regular brush, fly spray, mane comb and a nice wooden box to store it all in.

NOTE: The fly spray works like the spray bottle! It's good for pictures etc. but maybe don't ACTUALLY spray the horse...

Laptop Pony Play Pack

Created by Rafa

Download LTP Play Pack

Per Rafa: The play pack includes some pony scaled toyz (feed bucket, jolly ball, jump, and cavaletti), 3 different playscenes (these do NOT work on my screen resolution, but they're included because they may suit yours), and 16 different colored halters. Again, feel free to edit these files as you see fit. If the jolly ball doesn't come in your favorite color, open it up in LNZ! Hexing halters to change the color is super easy too.

V3 with Variations

Created by Rafa - Overwrites the Dalmatian.dog file

Download V3 LTP Variations

Per Rafa: This file includes a ton of variations for ponies, including 43 base coats, various white markings (leg, facial, minimal tobiano, overo), 2 shades of leopard appaloosa, a few duns with dun markings, possible blanket appaloosas, many eye colors, and possible "hoof polishes." Also included are pegasus wings and unicorn horns, each coming in a variety of colors. Other varieties include feathered legs, an assortment of mane & tail lengths, and different body thicknesses (you can get ponies that look like lean racing Thoroughbreds, and ponies with a little more to love).

As always, lower the fatness slider on your pony for a show ready "roached" or "braided" mane.

If these ponies look a little different from other LTPs, it's because they've been altered and updated. The neck has been swapped out for the technique I used for my more "advanced" horse file, giving it better shape and movement (I think!). The shape of the file is finally breedable, but I cannot get colors to pass how I want them to. For best breeding results, I still advise you hex your babies!

As always with my files, feel free to modify as you see fit. If you prefer a Dane overwrite, go for it. If you want to strip some or all of the variations, feel free.

This file is really meant for people who would like to get into LTPs/build their herd but do not have a desire to hex ponies themselves or request them from others. Due to the absurd amount of variations, some ponies are going to look better than others and good luck pulling out identical ponies!

   Tack & Graphics

The following tack and graphics are free for you to use as long as you do not claim them for your own. By downloading, you agree to follow any other rules associated with them from their creators. Just right-click the image(s) and save if you want to use them! In the case of a large amount of tack, a .zip may be downloadable.

Challenges

These challenges were created by Rafa for Laptop ponies and unaccepted horse files, so you can still do fun things with them!

Hexing

Two tools from Brynn, the Spot Generator and the Anchor Utility, are downloadable from the Hexing Tools & Guides section.

Textures

Created by Jewellz

These are already BMPs so you should be able to just right-click and save.

Texture: jewellzcremello.bmp
Transparency @ 0 (looks best when set on a lighter color, like 10 as apposed to 19)
Modeled by: Delight (using Celestia's jannet64 for mane/tail) and Audaz

Texture: jewellzginger.bmp
Transparency @ 0 (looks best when set on a darker color, like 59 as apposed to 50)
Modeled by: Ember and Barry

Texture: jewellzdarkblueroan.bmp
Transparency @ 0, 20, or 110
Modeled by: Humphrey (transparency @ 20 on 115 color base)
Works nicely as a blue roan or a dark grey depending on the base color and transparency you use.

Texture: jewellzbrowngrey.bmp
Transparency @ 0 (looks best when set on a darker color, like 109 as apposed to 100)
Modeled by: Flashbang

Texture: jewellzgrey.bmp
Transparency @ 0 or 30
Modeled by: Illusion (transparency @ 0 - also uses my darkblueroan texture on a grey (25) base with transparency 110 for the dapples)
I haven't tried it yet, but if you use a base color 110 and a transparency of 30, it might be a nice lighter blue roan.

There are more textures created by members of SS posted in the Free Textures thread. There's just a rule they can't be posted anywhere else.

Racing

Racing Silk Designs

Created by Kataan

These designs do not cover all available designs in GR 2006, but they'll get you started. You can choose two colors for the body of the silks and two colors for the sleeves. (You can choose more than two but they won't look right in the Gallop Racer game.) You can check out the first page of silk body designs here and the second page here.
The designs for sleeves are here.

Hood Template

Created by Jewellz

Below is a hood template to get you started if you want to design your own. Keep in mind you can only choose two colors. You can see all the available hood designs here.

NOTE: Hoods may cover the ears. You can specify if you want the hood to cover the ears (or add them to that template), as well as if you want the horse to wear blinkers with the hood or not. Most owners who put a hood on the horse do it so it will wear blinkers.

And these are the 16 colors that are the options for silks, hoods, bandages, etc. in Gallop Racer. You can choose other colors, but race holders will have to use whichever is the closest out of these.
